Are there any discounts offered?


Yes. If payment is made in full by June 1, the cost of the camp is reduced to $190. If six or more people are registered by a single registrant, the cost of the camp is further reduced to $180.

What is the camp refund policy?


A medical note is required for refunds. Please contact Coach Treibit at treibitm@stjohns.edu or 718-990-5762 with questions.

What forms are required in order for my child to participate?


Attendees must fill out the Acknowledgement, Waiver, Release and Indemnification Agreement as well as bring a complete Physical Examination form.

What items should my child bring to camp?


Volleyball kneepads, sneakers, t-shirt and a snack.

Where and when is check in?


Check in will be held in Carnesecca Arena beginning at 3 p.m. Attendees should enter through the main entrance of Carnesecca Arena and proceed to the court for check in.

How do I get to camp? (Driving directions)


Directions to Carnesecca Arena


By public transportation:


I.N.D.: Take the E or F train to Kew Gardens/Queens Boulevard. Take the Q-46 bus to Utopia Parkway and Union Turnpike.


I.R.T.: Take the 7 train to Main Street, Flushing. Take the Q-17 bus to Utopia Parkway and Long Island Expressway. Transfer to the Q-30 or 31 to 82nd Avenue and Utopia Parkway.


From Long Island: Take the L.I.R.R. to Jamaica Station, then the Northern Q-30 or 31 to 82nd Avenue and Utopia Parkway.


By automobile:


From Manhattan: Take the Queens Midtown Tunnel to the Long Island Expressway and exit at Utopia Parkway. Stay on the service road to Utopia Parkway and turn right. Follow Utopia Parkway to Union Turnpike. Campus is on the right.


From Brooklyn: Take the Belt Parkway (East) to the Van Wyck Expressway (678 N) and exit at Main Street/Union Turnpike. Proceed to the third traffic light, make a right onto Grand Central Parkway service road to Utopia Parkway and go left onto campus; OR take the Jackie Robinson Parkway (East) to the Grand Central Parkway (East), exit at Utopia Parkway and make a left onto campus.


From the Bronx: Take the Throgs Neck Bridge to the Clearview Expressway, exit on Union Turnpike and make a right. Follow Utopia Parkway. Campus is on the right; OR take the Triboro Bridge to Grand Central Parkway, exit at Utopia Parkway, turn left at light and go left onto campus.


From Long Island: (North) - Take the Northern State Parkway to the Grand Central Parkway and exit at 188th Street. Turn left at the light and make immediate right onto the service road. Follow the service road to Utopia Parkway, go left onto Utopia Parkway to Union Turnpike and turn right onto campus.


From Long Island: (South) - Take the Southern State Parkway to the Cross Island Parkway and onto the Grand Central Parkway; exit at 188th Street. Follow above directions to campus.

What is a typical day like?


4 - 4:30 p.m.: Warm Up and Motivational Speech

4:30 - 5:30 p.m.: Individual Skills Sessions

5:30 - 6 p.m.: Demonstrations with Coaches and Players

6 - 6:30 p.m.: Snack Break

6:30 - 8 p.m.: Team Drills and Scrimmages

Is there a medical staff at camp?


Yes. A fully certified Athletic Trainer will be present at all clinic sessions.
