 Notes from State Meeting REGISTRATION PROCEDURED for 2010            Go on line to www.legion.org/baseball

            Go to registration on line box.

                        Open and follow the instructions.

            Complete the form and send.

            State Director will receive; he’ll review and approve or disapprove.

            You will get an Email back that gives you an ID and Pass word.

            Use the ID and Pass word and enter the National site to get your Insurance.

                        Fill out the Insurance and registration form and pay with a Credit card;          Insurance is $395     plus  Team fees as follows;

                     $200 for AAA

                     $150 for AA and AA

 If your are registering an A team indicate AA on this Insurance form and Nation Fees form.

NOTE: THIS HAS TO BE DONE BY MARCH 31st. 

When you do your form 1’s you indicate A or AA team

 

Only forms submitted to State is a Form 2 and 77’s and 76’s. State national will already have your form 1 as you transmitted. No Signatures required only Names and Contact information.

 

Coaches Ethics and D&A form are a Team requirement and done by the Team.

These forms are not on the National or State Sites.

-          All information on web site.

-          No Mailings rules and basic information

-          Teams Looking for Games and Tournament Information

 ID CARDS

-          ID you have keep good till Player leaves Program

-          No mew Cards, National and State do not want to go through the Expense.

-          Birth Certificate initial check at District, only need it if you go to Final Four in State tournament.

 American Legion Show Case at the Regional AAA tournament: AL players only, find info on Web Site, Sponsored by Baseball Factory. Day before the Regional’s, at Blue Springs.   
You will need some one to Register your team (s) via web. follow instructions on hand out. if you have problems call me. get registered to get your id and password. as soon aspossible. Fees will be paid with your insurance after you get your Id and pass word. This is all done on National web site now. You must have Insurance and pay fees before you have Tryouts by 31st of March. After 31st March the registration is Turned off and you will have to have special permission from State Director to register a team.  Fees had gone up. National requires $50 per team so AAA is $200 the A and AA are considered Junior national Teams so fee is $150 each, when you Initially register a drop don box will have only two options, 19 and under and 17 and under, for A indicate 17 and under, but next box indicate A or AA.  State director will Approve or Disapprove initial application, if approved you receive  an email with ID and password, then you can enter the coaches login on national site and buy your insurance and pay fees, you need a Credit card to do this. You can do your  form 1 and 2's and do new 77 and 76's. Only paper work turned in to me is form 2's and approved 77 and 76's. No signmatures are required on form 1 just fill in information. everything is electronically submitted. I will certificate Orginal Birth certificates and Legion IDs, no more legion ID's, if you have one its good for the duration the player is in. I will validate a BC on form 1 and it is good for this season and the remander of time he and I are in the Legion system. Only time you need a BC or ID card is if you go to State Tournament. Only paper work that gets turned in by 15 June is Form 2 and 76's and 77. I'll need a copy of Form 1 and one with BC certification you will keep. No D and A's or Coaches Certificates are required for State. That is now internal to the Team.

A - AA District Tournaments - completed by July 11 (Dist 17: 7-11 JULY)A State Tournament - July 15-17 AA Zone Tournaments — July 15 — 17 AA State Tournament - July 22 - 24 AA Regional Tournament - July 29 - August 1 AAA District Tournaments - completed by July 22  (Dist 17:  7-11 July)AAA Zone Tournaments — completed by July 26

AAA State Tournament - July 29-31

AAA State Tournament will be held at Liberty Park in Sedalia, Mo. All other sites TBA pending bid or assignment. Bids sent in by 10 January 2010.
