Sunday, May 11*Sporting 93 Team Headed To Manchester Cup Qualifiers*
A special team of 93 boys from the sporting U14 and U15 are headed to Oregon this upcoming Memorial day weekend for the Manchester Cup USA Qualifiers. The boys will face off against the toughest teams in the country. If victorious, NIKE will pay for all the expenses for the team to travel to England for the world Championship were they would face off against teams like Barcelona (Spain), Juventus (Italy), and other top teams from all around the world.

*2008 CYSA State Cup*
It was a tough loss for the Defending state champions today as they lost to a strong Mustang team. The game was tight all the way through with Mustang winning 1-0 until the last 7 minutes of the game. It is then when our forward Julio scored the tying goal. The game ended 1-1 and went into a teeth grinding double over time. With no team being able to score, the game moved onto a penalty shootout. It took 8 shots to declare a winner and give mustang the ticket into the finals. It was unfortunate that our team could not move on to the finals but good luck to the Mustang team against Tecos.

*Sporting Travels to Home of Del Sol in Arizona*
The boys traveled to Arizona this weekend to one of the top tournaments in the nation. Sporting cruised trough a comfortable first round winning 5-1 agains FC United (Illinois), 2-1 against Manchester United (Oregon), and 6-0 against home team Del Sol-White (Arizona). Sporting moved onto the quarter finals against Neusport Green (Nevada). The game was a gut wrenching one as Neusport moved all of their team back to defense and our boys shot with no success. An opportunity of a penalty shot presented itself but was not successful either. Our boys ended up loosing the game 1-0. Let's keep working hard team as we look ahead to Dallas.

SC Sporting 93B- Mustang Winter Invitational Champions
This weekend was a cold but exciting one at the Mustang Soccer Complex in Danville, CA. Sporting 93B were crowned champions after beating out Turlock Fire Elite, SC County Breakers, Mustang Reds (home team), and finally Santa Rosa Atletico in the final match with a score of 4-1.

Sporting Boys Take Second Place At Norcal State Cup
Sporting 93B finished in a strong second place in the Norcal State Cup Premier Division. Sporting boys fought hard until the end and gave the Hayward Tecos team a tough match until the last minute.

93B Ambrozino League Champions For The Third Straight Year
93B once again win the highly competitive CYSA Division 1 Ambrozino League for the third straight year. Sporting Boys finished a great fall season with a record of 8 wins and 2 ties. They managed to score 34 goals while only allowing 7 in their net.

93B Win NHB Cup
93B win the coveted NHB cup in Huntington Beach this weekend. The team finished off with an undefeated record and scoring 15 goals while allowing 2 into their net.

Sporting 93B Beat Out Hayward Tecos at Mustang Stampede Tournament
Sporting 93B win another championship. In an intense final match, Sporting boys were able to hold out the highly ranked Hayward Tecos with a score of 3-2. Great job Sporting on finishing strong and once again undefeated.

Sporting 93B 2007 State Cup Champions
Santa Clara Sporting 93B became state champions once again after beating the Livermore Elite Titans 3-0 in the championship game. Sporting ended with a great undefeated record while scoring 40 goals and only allowing 2 into our net.

SC Sporting 93B- San Francisco Cup Champions
Sporting 93B win the championship at the San Francisco Cup with an undefeated record. Sporting scored 15 goals and only allowed 1 into their net.
Sunday, June 24
Sporting 93B Finish Second at Far West Regionals in Las Vegas
After and impressive finish at the State Cup, Sporting boys headed to Las Vegas to try to earn a spot in the National Championship. Sporting started out by beating the State Champions from Hawaii, Utah, and Colorado. They then went on to beat out Arizona in the quarterfinals with a score of 4-1, and then went on to beat the Nevada State Champs 5-1. Sporting Boys then went on to the Championship match and fought a tough game against the California South champs-The X-Treme Italia. At the end they lost 6-3 but gave a tough fight to a team that had been unscorable throughout the entire tournament. Great Job Sporting.
