Jefferson Cup Premier Soccer Tournament Fast Facts:

The Tournament accepts over 600 teams from around North America.

In the past 4 Years, the Jefferson Cup turns down an average of over 500 teams per year.

The Jefferson Cup is currently ranked the #3 youth tournament for boys and #5 youth soccer tournament for girls in the United States.

Each year the tournament draws an average of over 150 State Cup Champions, over 50 Regional Champions and over 5 National Champions per year throughout the nine age groups.

Congratulations Gaels !
Team, This was wonderful season with its ups and downs, and I hope that everyone feels that this team has shown something special together.
I just want to recognize all the Gaels for showing their love of the game, every game, and making every game a special event.
On top of it all, the team finished a fantastic year in grand fashion. I know that rankings are just numbers right now, but a few of us have been tracking and maintaining the team's data.

Gaels Champions of PAGS U-11 Premier Barcalona Division!

GAELS CHAMPIONS OF PAGS!
At the end of the regular season, the Gaels finished atop of the PAGS league to claim the first seed in the playoffs. From there, the two top ranked teams in the state stood between them and the championship!
In the Semifinal game against FC Bucks Fury, the Gaels showed poise and control in an impressive 1-0 win. In the finals, the Gaels held HMMS Super Eagles to only one goal while scoring two of their own. The second goal coming with less than two minutes left in regulation time, sealing the championship! Great performance by all the Gaels!

The U11 Girls Gaels 96 made it to the finals of the Spirit United Kick-Off Classic this past weekend. Our girls played in the Championship Bracket and began the tournament by beating the Freehold Wildcats 3-0. Later that day they secured a spot on the semifinal game by earning a hard fought victory over the Methacton Lightning 1-0. On Sunday, we beat the Montclair United Colchesters 4-2 to earn a trip to the finals where they unfortunately were defeated by the CRUSA Fury 0-3. Needless to say, it was another great performance by the whole team throughout the weekend. Congratulations to all the girls!

August 07, 2007 - Downingtown, PA
Whoever said the sequel is not as good as the original was dead wrong. Nike just headed back out to Downingtown, PA for round two with Spirit United. We knew after the first time we were there that we had to go back, and it did not disappoint. The energy was through the roof! We had some of the fastest shots of the whole summer on the radar gun. Pierre was going to play goalie, but after he saw those shots he decided it was safer to stick with soccer tennis.

Please join me in welcoming Trevor Tredway to the team's coaching staff for the remainder of the season and the upcoming U11 season. As you know, Trevor has been working very hard to keep this group of young ladies together and his enthusiasm and positive attitude will make a good addition to our sidelines. Trevor, along with Stephen Potter, will be helping me during trainings and games starting this spring. I can honestly say, that we are very fortunate to have them both on our side.

Congratulations girls on another great performance at the Nether Field Of Dreams 2007 Tournament!
With an overall score of 27 points in the tournament, the Dragons won the U-10 Blue Division soundly.
They managed to go undefeated throughout the day and handed out two shutouts against strong competition!
Thanks also to the girls who guest played with the Dragons. The girls had a great time together at Nether!
