Spencer Archery: Welcome
Weekly Update and February 24 Tournament
Congratulations to all the archers who placed at the Garner Hayfield Ventura Tournament yesterday! It was a great day for many archers.
The final regular season tournament will be next Saturday at IGLL school in Spencer. Make sure that you arrive 30 minutes early for your flight. All archers are responsible for packing their equipment. We will transfer the school owned equipment to the tournament. There will be one designated area to unpack your owned bows and equipment, along with all school equipment.
There will be a coaches meeting on Sunday or Monday night, February 25-26, (depending when we get the state standings), in which we will be making state roster decisions. The regular practices will be ending as of Friday, February 23 and a new practice schedule for state archers will be out by Monday night along with all roster decisions. Meaning, no practice for Monday, February 26. All state practices will resume on Tuesday, February 27 with altered practice times.
We are going to try to hold the golf ball sorting fundraiser again. If enough volunteers sign up, we will be having the golf ball sorting at Golf Ball Country in Spencer (IGL communications building in NW Spencer industrial park) on March 3rd. We are trying to fill 2 shift times. 9 to 11 and 11 to 1pm. If you are able to help, please text or email Teresa what time works for you by Thursday, Feb. 22. Parents are welcome to help also!
Any questions or concerns can be emailed or texted to Teresa. 712 260-4080 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Our Aim is your Success! See you at the gym!
In case of Late Start, Early Out, or No School...
When weather or another issue dictates the school schedule must be adjusted that day for:
Late start - No morning practice will be held
Early out - No afternoon practice will be held
No school - Neither morning nor afternoon practices will be held
