Sparta Youth Football has two divisions: 4-5 year olds and 6-7 year old. The 4-5 year olds play all their games at Lamerouex Park and the 6-7 year olds play all games at Nash Field. If your 7 year old turns 8 before October 1st then they can play flag football. However if the player turns 8 before November 1st then they have to play Youth Rocket Football.
Parents Night is August 28th @ Rogers Park from 6-7pm
Practice begins Tuesday September 4th and Thursday September 6th (all practice times will be announced once rosters are final)
Opening Day is Tuesday September 9th (Game 1)
September 11th (Game 2) Thursday
September 16th (Game 3) Tuesday
September 18th (Game 4) Thursday
September 23rd (Game 5) Tuesday
September 25th (Game 6) Thursday
September 29th is rain date (If we have one) or it will be Flag football

Sparta Youth Football Camp
Football season is just around the corner, and Sparta High School football staff and players would like to give your child a head start on the upcoming season. The camp is a great way to explore football for the first time or help the experienced player advance existing skills. Campers will be given the chance to learn technique for the following positions: offensive and defensive line, quarterback, defensive back, running back, linebacker, and receiver. Along with individual and group instruction, campers will receive a camp T-shirt, lunch, and the opportunity to compete in a punt, pass and kick contest.
Who: Campers will be divided into age groups.
Group 1 = Grades 2 – 6 (tackle football eligible)
Group 2 = Grades 7 – 8
When: Group 1 – July 23rd from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
Group 2 – July 16th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Where: Sparta High School Practice Fields (between high school and M37)
Cost: $20 – includes camp T-shirt and lunch
