Fall Ball is coming!! Only a little over a month to go. We will hold try-outs for players with no teams on 8/15/09. Teams are able to bring in a complete roster. Just be aware of the SWVGS rule all players must play 2 defensive innings and have 1 at bat per game.
This Fall we will have all 5 divisions playing at the same time. This includes 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 16U. We will finish the season with the 2nd Annual S.W.V.G.S. Winter Classic.
All players are eligible to play in the same division as they played in the spring. Remember the age limit is December 31, 2008. If you were 10 in the spring season and you turned 11 in June, you can still play in 10U in the fall.
Registration Fees are as follows:
6U-$65
8U-$75
10U-$100
12U-$100
16U-$100
Players that played with us this Spring will get an automatic $10 discount off of their registration. New players that have not registered with S.W.V.G.S. in 2009 will not get that discount. Returning players will not be eligable for the sibling discount. The sibling discount is for new players only.
You pay full price for your first child and 2nd child gets $10 of her registration. Every child after that will get $5 off the registration fee.
Keep in mind that ride share can not be guaranteed when you enter into the draft. We will only guarantee that siblings will be put on the same team. All other players in the draft will be available for any coach to pick.
Every player is required to either participate in the fundraiser , to be selected by the Board, or pay a $25 buy-out fee. There will be no exceptions.
Also returning players are not required to turn in a birth certificate. New players are required to turn in a birth certificate with their registration. Although we still have a code of conduct we no longer require parents and players to sign the paper. We ask that the read the code of conduct. We will still follow those rules. Your signature on the registration form aknowledges the your read and understand those rules.
Coaches you are required to forward your teams roster to Jim Miller ASAP!!! Email him at jim@swvgs.org. Any parents that are interested in coaching a team need to contact Jim as well.
