SouthwestClassicBaseball: Welcome

Southwest Classic Baseball is a subsidiary of Cedar Hill Baseball Association consisting of teams from each of the following Southwest Dallas County area baseball associations: Cedar Hill, Dallas, Duncanville, Lancaster, Ovilla, Red Oak, Desoto, Ferris, Grand Prairie and Waxahachie. If you are interested in more information regarding Southwest Classic Baseball, please contact a league representative from one of these cities.

The brackets for you to view are on USSSA. This tournament will have Friday games as to allow early championship games. please submit your $125 gate fee prior to your 1st game played, a copy of your most current roster, and have a copy of your insurance for our local directors to review. The following parks will be utilized, I have included the addresses for your convenience:

For all SWC League teams your tournament registration has been paid but you are still required to pay the $125 gate fee.

The following age groups will begin Bracket play on Saturday evening (10/11/12/14u), so be prepared to stay in the area should your bracket game fall in the seeding order. Additional time has been added so that scores can be updated as soon as the last pool game has finished. Please become familiar with the pitching outs allowed for a 3 day tournament as it will only apply to those teams that play on Friday. A copy of the USSSA rules will be available at the directors table at each park and i have attached a link to usssa so that you may download a copy for your records.

It is the responsibility of the Head Coach to ensure his/her game times for bracket play. Information can be gathered with the tournament director. My 2 main tournament directors will be located at Valley Ridge park-Cedar Hill and Harrington Park-Duncanville, should you need further assistance.

Pool games will be 1 hr 30 minutes / bracket games 1hr 40 minutes.

-Please pick up trash in your dugouts after your game.

-No Smoking. No alcohol. no firearms are allowed in All parks

-All scores and pitching logs will be posted after each game is completed on the USSSA website, refer to your respective age division.

-New BAT RULE IN EFFECT, failure to comply with the usssa bat rules may lead to ejection of the the bat being used, player, Head coach or forfieture of game.
