Hawks Run Out Of Time
The Hawks lost to the Twin Bridges Lightning this past weekend, in what turned out to be a close game against the top team in the league. The hawks went up 1-0 on a rebound goal by J.R. Townsley in the first period of a shot from Jon Orelt. TB came back a short time later and scored off a deflected shot from the point. The Hawks came charging back and Nick edwards poked in another rebound goal to take the lead. Twin bridges came back and had another deflected goal off a skate to tie it up. A short time later in the second period Twin Bridges came back and had a nice shot off the circle to take the lead. The third Period was shorted at the 7:30 mark to 2 minutes to end the game. For the first time in a leage game the Hawks out shot Twin Bridges 14 to 11.
