Pride Going To The Hall Of Fame!
So Cal Pride persevered through tough circumstances to take 2nd at the ASA Hall Of Fame qualifier in Fairfield, Ca. The girls survived getting sent to the losers bracket after their first game against the ultra tough Nor Cal Flyers and then the loss of a starter, Zarah, to a sore back.
After the opening loss to the Flyers, Pride won six straight games including four on Sunday. The last of those games was a 4-3 thriller over the Nor Cal Flyers in international tie breaker. That win got Pride to the championship game where they fell to the mighty USA Athletics. The finals appearance earned Pride a berth to the Hall Of Fame Tournament in Oklahoma in June.
Great job ladies!!

The Pride participated in the UCLA softball Clininc on January 26th at Easton Field on the UCLA Campus. The Pride ladies absorbed information from one of the best softball programs in the country. The clinic began with hitting instruction and was followed by an Alumni Game where the top UCLA Softball Players, past and present, performed. The Pride is extremely GRATEFUL to the UCLA Coaching Staff and Sue Enquist for their hospitality, instruction and energy. Thanks also to our parents for your participation in getting the girls out there after a doubleheader the previous evening.
