PRIDE hosted All American and Olympic Gold Medalists Natasha Watley and Tairia Mims-Flowers at the Grand Slam Batting Cages last Tuesday, Sept. 28. A large group of PRIDE players, parents, and friends enjoyed a great evening of instruction and insight provided by Natasha and Tairia. They participated in our normal workout and then communicated some of their softball experiences to our group.
Special Thanks to Grand Slam for their continued support of the PRIDE girls!

PRIDE CAPTURES 4th @ SO CAL STATE!!
PRIDE performed well in the So Cal State Championship in Menifee, the most challenging ASA national qualifier in the country. There were 62 teams entered in the tournament and Pride lost only to eventual champion Minors Gold and Corona Angels (1-0) in a tough 3rd place "berth" game. Pride won 6 of 8 games and the girls produced 5 shutouts and allowed only 10 runs for the tournament. Great defensive efforts were turned in by all players. This team trains specifically to perform well in the big tournaments and the results exemplify that focus. Congratulations on a wonderful accomplishment and we look forward to continued success in the future.
PRIDE Hosts USA Olympian Stacey Nuveman!!
PRIDE was excited to host current USA Olympian Stacey Nuveman on March 13 at the Grand Slam Cages in Monrovia. Stacey, a UCLA All- American catcher from La Verne, was on hand to provide insight into her experiences as well as instruction to the PRIDE players and parents. Stacey is a prime role model and example of the positive things produced by girls fastpitch softball.
