SOUTH REDONDO LITTLE LEAGUE: 2010 Spring Baseball Divisions
Single-A level is for 7-9 year old players who are starting to understand the basic skills and rules of baseball. Unlike T-ball Single-A players hit from a pitching machine.
T-Ball
This is where it all starts. This beginning program introduces the fundamentals to boys and girls age 5-6.
Minors
Minor level is for players ages 8 - 11 who know all the basic skills and can follow the rules and handle kid pitch. This level is more competitive and helps players develop advanced skills. We will have two levels of Minors (AA & AAA) so that there is a growth stage for kids that need to ease into the faster ball speeds of minor baseball.
Majors
Major level is for 10 - 12 year old competitive skilled players. This level builds upon their skills and introduces strategy to the game.Players are placed in a pool after tryouts and Managers draft in sequence. Any player not drafted is put in AAA Minor pool of players.
Fall Ball
Often called Training and Development League, this September through November league is designed to assist the kids during the off-season. Two divisions; Majors and Minors.
