Our "Home" Outdoor and Indoor Fields Are Located At Action Sports Center in Dayton

“Home” Games are generally held at Action Sports Center conveniently located between Route 4 and Route 35 in Dayton (formerly called Gateway Sports Park).  “Away” Games may include locations in the Dayton Region (primarily Beavercreek, Tipp City, Centerville, Bellbrook, Tipp City, Troy, Xenia etc...).

Action Sports Center was built in 2000 and is part of a 40 acre outdoor complex with eight lighted baseball diamonds, football fields and athletic training facility, four full service soccer fields, and a golf driving range.  There is also a 29,000 square foot indoor facility that houses a full indoor soccer field, batting cages and meeting rooms.

ACTION SPORTS CENTER (Formerly GATEWAY Park)...Dayton OH...From South take I-75 just north of downtown to Route 4 exit heading NorthEast. Go 1.5 miles to Findlay St Exit. Note: The bridge is being replaced but it is OPEN to Gateway Dr. Off ramp turn right (East) onto Findlay St. Enter Gateway Dr 150 yards on left. From North; take I-70 from I-75 to Route 4 at exit 41 OR take I-675 West to exit 41. Go South on Route 4 to Findlay St/Stanley St Exit. Off ramp turn left (east) onto Findlay St (Stanley St goes right). About 300 yards on left is entrance to Action Sports Center. Indoor and outdoor fields are on the left about 200 yards off Findlay St.

Miami Valley Premier's Mission Statement, Club Overview and Unique Features Of Our Organization: 

Mission Statement:To create a premier training and competition atmosphere for boys and girls that strives to reach the highest level of success in the sport of soccer through "passion, purpose, principles and pfun" on and off the field of competition. 

Club Overview: The Miami Valley Premier Futbol Club (MVP) was formed to provide premier level soccer players with professional coaching, great facilities and an optimum competition environment for both boys and girl.  We are affiliated with US Youth Soccer, Ohio South Youth Soccer Association, Miami Valley Youth Soccer Association, and Buckeye Premier Youth Soccer League.  The club serves a broad geographic range with its players covering the entire west central part of Ohio.  Our professional coaching staff is required to have advanced US Soccer Federation  and NSCAA Licenses in order to provide our players with qualified coaching and leadership.  Our coaching staff for example currently holds the following advanced licenses: USSF National B License, USSF National C License, NSCAA Premier Diploma, USSF National Youth Diploma, NSCAA Level 1 and 2 Goalkeeping Diplomas and more!  Action Sports Center is the clubs' official home training & competition facility located in the heart of Dayton with the unique capabilities of both indoor (1 Full Field) and outdoor year round training (Multiple Full Fields and Training Area). 

A Couple Unique Features Of Our Club: We do not like to believe we are better than other clubs but rather we just do things our own way to produce enjoyable youth sport experiences for all of our players.  That includes striving to serve the unique needs of each of our players specifically towards their soccer skill development (As it relates to the four pillars of soccer: Psychological, Technical, Tactical and Physical) so they can reach the highest of levels desired.  Furthermore, we provide a low fee structure for our players as well as various optional fundraisers to lower a families financial commitment even further!  

Our TEAM MISSION is to focus on the development of our youth soccer players through what we describe as the "FOUR P's": Passion, Principles, Purpose, and Pfun.

1. Passion: Passion is defined as "a strong liking or enthusiasm for a particular activity".  We believe that each player should have the opportunity to develop a passion for the sport of soccer.  We hope through our fun training sessions and exciting game play that we will continue to build each players enjoyment and enthusiasm for the sport of soccer. 
2. Principles: We believe that the game of soccer should contain certain life lessons and an opportunity for each player to grow and challenge themselves. Lessons such as teamwork, leadership and good sportsmanship are the hallmark of this area in our view.
3. Purpose: We believe that training and development should have focused objectives that allow each player to achieve short and long term goals.  This is similar to having a "vision" for the team which establishes guidelines to create an environment of peak performance with the least amount of distractions.
4. Pfun!: We believe this is why kids play soccer!...To Have Fun!!  Additionally, the more fun they have while playing the sport means the more easily players can learn and improve their skills. (Yes, I spelled FUN with a "P", it seemed like kind of fun!!!.)

Additionally, as your child's soccer club choice, we will strive to have our coaches bring 4 Traits to EVERY soccer event: 1) competence (as we ask every player to become the best player one can, our coaching staff will work hard to be the best coach possible through a search for additional proficiency in knowledge of the sport, continual development of our teaching skills and utilizing effective organizational skills), 2) trustworthiness (the ability to relate positively with every player and their family), 3) character (provide a solid work ethic, demonstrate honesty/integrity, show dedication and foster the appropriate virtues of good sportsmanship) and 4) caring coach-player relationships (the genuine respect, concern and sense of caring is central to motivate and develop every player). 

We, at MVP, believe the the 4 P's of our team mission and the coaching traits will provide and promote a team that enhances performance while maximizing everyone's enjoyment...for BOTH the players and their families.

Miami Valley Premier's Director Of Coaching Biography: Chris Bidwell 

Chris has coached youth sports since 1987 in the Midwest and Western United States and has coached & trained a variety of types of soccer teams including recreational, regional competitive "Travel/Select", and US Youth Soccer O.D.P. Teams.  During his time coaching advanced players over the years in the United States, his teams have captured countless tournament and league championships from all over the midwest region.  In 2007, he won the Miami Valley Youth Soccer Associations' prestigious "Coach Of The Year" Award given to the coach demonstrating coaching integrity, player development and commitment to the game.  He holds advanced soccer coaching licenses including: NSCAA Premier Diploma (USSF "A" License equivalent), United States Soccer Federation "National B" License, NSCAA Director Of Coaching Diploma, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma (USSF "B" License equivalent), NSCAA National Diploma (USSF "C" License equivalent), USSF National "Y" Youth License (specialized national license for coaching U8-U14 competitive soccer teams), USSF National "D" Coaching License, USSF "E" Coaching License, NSCAA State Goalkeeping Diploma, NSCAA Regional Goalkeeping Diploma, and USSF "F" Coaching License. He is also a certified United States Soccer Federation and Ohio High School Athletic Association Referee. In a continued commitment to being one of the most highly educated coaches possible in order to give his players the best teaching principles available, his continuing coaching education includes periodic attendance at activities such as the following annually: NSCAA Programs - US Soccer national or state coaching schools, NSCAA Programs - US Youth Soccer national coaching conventions and lectures, Referee lectures and symposiums on the laws of the game, and the US Youth Soccer Coaches Lecture Series in Ohio .
