I’m beginning my junior year in high school and it my desire to play collegiate softball once I graduate in 2001. I would like to invite you watch me play at the Orange County Octoberfest on October 22-24 located in Lancaster, CA and the Anaheim Batbusters pre-Thanksgiving College Showcase on November 19-21 located in Tustin, CA (Columbus Field). I currently play softball for both La Costa Canyon High School who were Avocado League Champions in 1999 and San Diego County Renegades 18U. My primary position is catcher, but I also play left and right field. I have enclosed the copy of my resume describing my athletic experience, academic and personal information. I am in a college prep program and my GPA is 3.67. I plan on taking my SAT’s in the fall and spring. I plan to major in Criminal Justice or obtaining a teaching degree. I would appreciate more information on Cal Poly State University. I will need some financial aid for my education so I am researching all available resources including grants, loans, scholarships and work-studies. What type of aid program does Cal Poly State University offer? I am working on my videotape and I will send you a copy when it is completed in the early spring.
