So Cal Pumas 16U: Welcome

June 14, 2009, the 16U, So Cal Pumas, Class “A” travel softball team competed in Beaumont, at the ASA State Tournament for a berth to the ASA National Tournament in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in July.
The Pumas were one of 12 out of 42 of the top Southern California teams to win a berth.
The Pumas have now earned a berth at the National Tournament for three consecutive years.

The Players The Pumas Softball program provides a place for young women to fulfill their goals and dreams through hard work. We offer a foundation for college scholarship opportunities, life skills, working as a team to accomplish goals, competetive ethics, nutrition, physical fitness and community service.
The Coaches With a proven history of turning out college-bound softball players (See Pumas History) the coaching staff prides itself on skill development, game knowledge, strong work ethics and positive attitudes. Our coaches have worked with many levels including 14U, 16U, 18U, 18Gold and High School.

The Program Our goal for the 2008/2009 season is to compete with success at the highest levels of the 16U and 18U Divisions, and bring our team's level of play to the heights that will allow us to win at ASA Nationals.

9th “California State 16U Championships” – Quaifying for Regionals
Region 14 - 16U Champions – Qualifying for Nationals
25th in 16U Nationals out of 144 teams that qualified from the 3000 total teams
