The NCAA has adopted new legislation that will require prospects who intend to enroll at NCAA Division I and Division II institutions to supply ACT or SAT scores to the Clearinghouse directly from the testing agencies. Test scores on an official high school transcript will no longer be usable for NCAA purposes. Start now and plan to have your ACT and SAT scores sent to the Clearinghouse (via code "9999") so that your certification decision will not be delayed. For more details consult the NCAA's website at www.ncaa.org or call the Clearinghouse. This change in legislation will impact anyone who has previously registered with the Clearinghouse and intends to enroll in fall or later. If your record has been posted with scores from an official high school transcript, these scores will be removed and it will be necessary for you to comply with this new rule.
Students should take their SAT's or ACT's before they leave their Junior year and get into the clearinghouse.
At this time, a transcript, which includes six semesters of grades, should be sent to the clearinghouse Additionally, students should have their SAT or ACT test scores forwarded directly to the clearinghouse (make sure you put 9999 code in when signing up for the test) whenever you take the exam.

I've reserved a block of rooms for the Colorado Sparkler (June 25-July 1) at the Red Lion Inn, 4040 Quebec Street, Denver, Co. Reservations are being held under So Cal Crunch. I have reserved 18 rooms (arriving Sunday, June 24th and checking out on Sunday, July 1st). You can call 303-321-6666 to reserve your room. They will ask for a credit card to hold your room, but your card won't be charged until you check in. Reservations must be made by January 31st.
With all applied taxes and fees it comes to $117 a night, but it does includes a breakfast buffet in the morning for everyone staying in your room, which I figure saves everyone $10 a head on a meal each day.
