Number of Teams Decision Made

There will be two teams at each grade level (5th through 8th) for the 2008-09 basketball season!

Eastside Travel League (ETL) has brought 5th grade teams into their program beginning this year.  Therefore, Skyline's select program will have one "A" team (Select team) for each grade from 5th through 8th.

After much debate, we also decided to keep a second team at each of those grade levels.  The "B" team will play in the Cascade League in the Fall City/Snoqualmie/North Bend area.  (Of course, this is provided enough kids try out to form 2 teams at each level.)

NOTE - Allocation of practice facilities has always been difficult - it will be extremely difficult this year.  However, the Board decided we would rather put together a competitive team to play in the Cascade league, even with limited practice space, than to turn kids away.
