For the past 5 seasons Pioneer faithful and Marmonte League fans have recognized Walt for his outstanding and unique enthusiasm for high school sports.  Walt has volunteered countless hours along with Friday nights doubling as the announcer for both Simi Valley Basketball and Simi Valley Football.  Danheiser is affectionately known as the "The Voice" in Pioneerland and is undoubtedly the best in the Marmonte League  in passion, pride, professionalism, and  enthusiasm.  When it comes to his announcing endeavors, he is second-to-none!  Pioneer fans are indeed fortunate to have his services behind the microphone and as a tremendous supporter of Simi Valley Athletics!
