Silverado Little League: Spring 2012 Divisions
Rookies Division is for players 7-8 years old. We use a coach pitch format.
Majors
Our Major Division includes players from 10-12 years old. Major’s is not considered instructional it is the first year of “competitive” baseball. The Major Division was established as a tournament program to give children the opportunity to experience Tournament Play, up to the state level.
Juniors
Junior League Baseball was established as a transitional program for 13-14 year olds. The program links the Little League and Senior League divisions and offers a full range of tournament play.
T-ball
T-ball Division is for players 4-6 years old. We teach the fundamentals of baseball.
Hitting is off of a "T" stand.
Sportsmanship and team work are introduced.
Minor
Our Minor Division includes players from 9-11 years old. Minor's is still considered instructional.
