Coach Sharp has been at Shreve for 5 years and taught Math in Caddo Parish for 9 years. He is in his 12th year of coaching baseball. His wife Janean is a Speech Therapist and they have two boys, Gray 5 and Andrew 2.

Varsity Coach-J.D. Stephens

Coach Stephens is currently in his sixth season with the Gators. Coach Stephens has been the Head Freshman Coach, Head JV Coach, and now is the Varsity Assistant Coach. He graduated from Haughton High School in 2000 where he was an All-Dist and All-City player his Junior and Senior seasons. He continued playing at BPCC and earned his Associates Degree. Coach Stephens received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Studies and Special Education from Louisiana State University in Shreveport.
His hobbies include golf, running, and spending times with his family. He recently completed his first marathon in Dallas. He and his wife Courtney have a daughter Emily who was born June 6, 2008.
