He is in his 14th year of coaching baseball. His wife Janean is a Speech Therapist and they have two boys, Gray 7 and Andrew 4. They recently celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary. |
Varsity Coach-J.D. Stephens

Coach Stephens is currently in his eigth season with the Gators. Coach Stephens has been the Head Freshman Coach, Head JV Coach, and now is the Varsity Assistant Coach. He graduated from Haughton High School in 2000 where he was an All-Dist and All-City player his Junior and Senior seasons. He continued playing at BPCC and earned his Associates Degree. Coach Stephens received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Studies and Special Education from Louisiana State University in Shreveport. His hobbies include golf, running, and spending times with his family. He recently completed his first marathon in Dallas. He and his wife Courtney have a daughter Emily who was born June 6, 2008. He has been teaching and coaching for 17 years in Caddo Parish. His wife Jennifer, works for International Paper and they have two children. Sydney is 11 years old and Blake is 6 years old. Coach Fant was the starting pitcher for the LSU-S Pilots in the programs first baseball game. Coach Fant was selected to be the Head Coach for the 2010 West All-Star Baseball Team. |
