CAPTAIN SHREVE 2006 STATE CHAMPIONS
May 12, 2006 is a day that will go down in the record books as Captain Shreve shut out Archbishop Shaw in the state title game 7 - 0. Lead by Shreve junior, Austin Ross, on the mound the Gators made history by bringing home the first ever baseball STATE CHAMPIONSHIP title. The Gators also put their name in the state record book by having the most wins of any high school team. They end the season with 37 wins and only 3 losses. The team would like to thank the hundreds of fans and the amazing student section who traveled from the Swamp to cheer the CAPTAIN SHREVE 2006 STATE CHAMPION BASEBALL TEAM on to victory!!
Gators defeat the Cougars in Semi-Finals
In front of a huge following of the gator nation, we scored 9 runs in the top of the 7th inning to take a thrilling victory over St. Thomas More 14-8.  John Anderson picked up the history making win in relief of Zach Johnson.  Alex Garcia and David Williams hit homeruns for the good guys.

After a long night of rain and lightning delays the gators won.  John Anderson picked up the win and Lance West and Zach Johnson hit homeruns.

We beat a very tradition rich DeRidder team.  Zach Johnson picked up the win for the Gator nation.
