Sheridan Park: 2009 Spring Divisions

Softball
GirlsÂ’ softball is entering its 4th year at Sheridan Park. Girls who are seasoned and those that have never played, are encouraged to come and join us for what will be a fun filled year in the heart of Little Italy. Emphasis will be placed on learning the fundamentals of the game while maintaining a nurturing and positive environment. All games will be played Saturday mornings, while practices will be at the discretion of the coaches.


Tee Ball
  • The T-Ball division is for 5 & 6 yr olds.
  • Games will be at 9:00 a.m. Players should arrive no later than 8:45 a.m.

    • The first five games (part I) will be four innings of T-ball. The second five games (part II) will be played with the first two innings off the tee and the final two innings as coach pitched.


    Rookies
  • The Rookies is machine pitch for 7 & 8 year olds.
  • Games will be played twice per week, beginning the week of April 25th.
  • The season will run through July 18th.
    Games will be played on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
  • To further develop basic skills and an understanding of the game, practices will be encouraged both prior to and during the start of the season.
