Coaches Lineup Planning Tool
Lineup Planning Spreadsheet - This file is a MS Excel spreadsheet that contains tools for creating game lineups and keeping player batting and pitching statistics. You can plan each game of the season in advance. Assign each player to positions and define the batting order for each game independently. The spreadsheet provides reports you can print and display in the dugout and provide to the coaches. The spreadsheet also calculates statistics for tracking positions played by each team member throughout the year along with basic batting and pitching stats. The spreadsheet will also help keep track of your win/loss record. There are 3 versions of the spreadsheet.
LineupTemplateNumbers.xls - This version allow you to position 9 players on the field. It designates the positions with numbers (e.g. 1=Pitcher, 2=Catcher, 3=1st base, 4=2nd base, ...). This version is can be used in the minor or majors.
LineupTemplateSymbols.xls - This version allow you to position 9 players on the field. It designates the positions with labels (e.g. P, C, 1B, 2B, ...) instead of numbers (e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4, ...). This version can be used in minors.
LineupTemplateSymbolsTenPlayer.xls - This version allows you to position 10 players on the field with the extra player in the outfield. This version is most useful for farm and t-ball divisions.
