Sharks Past and Present! This Sharks team formed in 2001 with the Blue Springs Soccer Club (BSSC) as a coed recreational team. In 2004 the team split to form two competitive teams, a U8 girls and a U8 boys. The girls team will continue to be coached by the same staff and they will be playing in the U13 A1 bracket in the KC Metro League through the Lee's Summit Soccer Association (LSSA) in Fall 2009. Sharks United News The Sharks coach's concentrate on developing the players’ first touch, skills on the ball, and age appropriate tactical play. We alternate our practices from technical to tactical and we have speed and agility camps from time to time.
The Sharks United teams play year around soccer which includes two outdoor sessions and two indoor sessions. We take the two summer months off, which gives the players an opportunity to attend college summer soccer camps. Also, we will participate in at least three tournaments in the spring and three in the fall and participate in 3v3 tournaments when our schedules allow us.
