PHILOSOPHY

To build an environment where girls experience competitive hockey in a positive, team-building atmosphere emphasizing fun, fitness, and friendships.  To ensure each player develops the skills, confidence, and love of the game so they may grow as a player and pursue a higher level of hockey.  

GOALS

Promote, maintain and nurture a positive environment for women in sport. 

Show respect for:   *Players, coaches, opponents, and referees                                 

                              *Parents and other fans 

Grow and mature as a player and as an individual. 

Provide equal playing opportunities for all players. 

Be a positive role model for other young women.  

ABOUT COACH DIANE

I have been playing hockey for 38 years and was one of the original Sharks.  I continue to play at a competitive level in the Golden Blades League at York University.  I have coached house league, select and am currently the Head Coach of the Sharks Peewee B team.  We have enjoyed a tremendous amount of success this season and plan to continue our winning ways at the Bantam level.  We have a strong coaching and managerial staff that support our philosophy and are fully committed to fiscal responsibility.
