Shalimar Little League offers Baseball and Girls’ Fastpitch Softball for youth ages 5-18. The purpose of this program is to implant the ideals of good sportsmanship, loyalty, respect for authority and structured competition under the Rules and Regulations of Little League Baseball, Inc.

ELECTION RESULTS 2009

Saturday, May 30th at 9:00 AM during our Closing Ceremonies SLL held elections for the Board of Directors of the 2010 Season.

Our League operates under the leadership of a 13 member Board of Directors. Our annual General Membership and Elections Meeting gives our members the opportunity to select the Board for next season. Anyone that is a General Member may vote. All parents, legal guardians and registered volunteers of SLL are General Members.

At Closing Ceremonies the General Membership elected a new Board of Directors for the 20109 season. The Board assumes leadership on October 1, 2009. Here are the Directors for 2010:

PARENTS GUIDE TO CHILD PROTECTION

The Little League Protection Program seeks to educate children and volunteers in ways to prevent child abusers from becoming involved in our Local League. Our League performs background checks on personnel that have repeated access to our children. No person is allowed to participate in any manner, whose background check reveals a conviction of any crime involving or against a minor (Reg I [c] 9) Shalimar Little League remains committed to this policy.
