Shalimar Little League offers Baseball and GirlsÂ’ Fastpitch Softball for youth ages 5-18. The purpose of this program is to implant the ideals of good sportsmanship, loyalty, respect for authority and structured competition under the Rules and Regulations of Little League Baseball, Inc.

Our League operates under the leadership of a 13 member Board of Directors. Our annual General Membership and Elections Meeting gives our members the opportunity to select the Board for next season. Anyone that is a General Member may vote. All parents, legal guardians and registered volunteers of SLL are General Members.
At Closing Ceremonies the General Membership elected a new Board of Directors for the 20109 season. The Board assumes leadership on October 1, 2009. Here are the Directors for 2010:

Brett’s Pitching and Hitting is hosting its first annual All Stars Summer Program. They will be having a 11-week summer program for ages 7 – 14. Each session is Monday – Thursday, with optional time slots, for morning, afternoons or all day. Each slot contains 3 ½ hours a day or all day with a lunch provided. The camp will consist of group instruction separated out into pitching, hitting, fielding (infield and outfield), mechanics, speed and agility training (circuit training), charting of speed and velocity at beginning and end of session/summer to record progress, time on the PX2 Probatter, audio visual DVD of each child.
They will occasionally be using Northwest Florida State College’s baseball facilities for games and practices along with other local fields, weather permitting. Sign up now while your time slots are still available. When signing up there will be a $50.00 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot.
Instructors for camp will be: LC Smith (see website for info), Sam Houston (LBW/FGCU), Josh McDorman (PJC), Austin Wood (Florida State), Matt Herndon (PJC), Bryce Allen (NWF), Tyler Hastings (UWF), Stuart Davis (PJC/UWF), several members of the area High School Baseball Teams will also be assisting. Brett DeVall (of the Atlanta Braves) and Doug Martin (Head Baseball Coach for NWFSC) will be speaking and making guest appearances. They are also offering a “circuit only” this summer on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8AM-9AM for ages 7-13 and 6:30PM-8:00PM for ages 14-18. Price for each child will be $50.00 each week.
*Early Drop Off 7:00am-8:00am and Late Pickup 4:00pm - 5:00pm*
