Ice Cream Guys
2003 will be the ninth year for the Ice Cream Guys. They are an icon in the LL Western Region / San Bernardino as well as in Williamsport.
In 1994 while Jim was umpiring in the Little League Baseball Western regional in San Bernardino. Jim and Wayne noticed that the Ice Cream was not selling well sitting by the side of a concession stand. They found an old Ice Cream pushcart in a garage near by, load up the cart and threw in some Ice Cream and away they went.
After a box of Bars was sold they would put the box on their heads as a joke and people thought that was pretty funny. They agreed that this was the job they wanted. The next year Wayne showed up with a few hats and masks. The following year Jim brought a few props to use and the Ice Cream Guys were on their way.
There are lotÂ’s of pictures and more at their website.
