Sewickley Valley Lacrosse (SVLax) was formed to encourage early participation in Lacrosse through age appropriate instruction for boys and girls in grades 1 through 6. Select, competitive teams are also available for boys in grades 7 and 8.
SVLax's mission is to promote the growth of boys' and girls' lacrosse, to field competitive teams by developing advanced playing skills, game knowledge, confidence, responsible decision making, teamwork, good sportsmanship and to have fun.
Our philosophy is to help our players become the very best they can be, both individually and collectively, through active participation on a competitive team and thorough instruction from an established coaching staff.
Finally, our goal is to enhance the opportunities for our student/athletes to play college lacrosse.

Sewickley Valley Lacrosse, now part of the Quaker Valley Recreational Association, will be holding its annual registration for their spring season on Saturday December 12th. Boys and girls in grades 1 through 6 can register from 10am until 1pm in the Hansen Library on the campus of Sewickley Academy.
Please come in and meet this year’s coaches and learn more about this fast growing sport. Queen City Lacrosse will also be on site to consult with you about the proper equipment for your child. They will have a large inventory of sticks and protective gear for you to choose from.
This year SV LAX will be doing a live on-line registration. We will be using the QVRA website to access the necessary forms and will have approximately 20 computers for registrants to use. Please have a credit card and your child’s US Lacrosse number with you when you come to Sewickley Academy on registration day. If you prefer to write a check and not use a credit card we will have forms in hard copy available for you to fill out.
We are excited for another great season of lacrosse and we look forward to seeing you on December 12th.
