Sentinel Striders: Welcome
Monday, October 19The Sentinel Striders Track Club is a youth cross country organization which promotes long distance running. We have been in existence since 1980 and have brought over 600 athletes to National Championships around the United States. Our club holds the record for most appearances of any youth club in the U.S. at the National Championships.
Our teams have won 68 New England Junior Olympics Cross Country Championships, 31 Regional Championships and have had 13 teams finish in the top 3 at the National Meet. 70 of our athletes have earned All-American status by finishing in the top 25 in their age group races. We are also very proud to have had 3 National Champions; Mike Lawson from Ponaganset in 1992, Jerry Bonner of Cumberland in 1993, and Liz Carlson from Lincoln in 2002.

Partial results are now posted. Times for all races are up, as well as all of the names that we have received from coaches. You can click on the tabs at the bottom of the page to switch between races. Any coaches who have not yet submitted their names, please e-mail us at JPK602@aol.com
Monday night update has been completed. Team scores have been posted for all races using the information we have received from coaches. There are still a number of runners missing. If you have not submitted any names, or have only submitted your top five in each race, please send us your information as soon as possible.
Missing teams currently include: Birchwood, Deering, Goff, Mount St. Charles, Narragansett, Ponaganset, and Ricci.

Saturday, December 8
More than 2,200 athletes journeyed to Lawrence, Kansas, to compete at the famous Rim Rock Farm cross country venue. Considered one of the premier cross country courses in the country, athletes were offered the opportunity to compete on the same trails transversed by collegiate athletes during the 1998 NCAA Cross Country Championships, as well as numerous Big Eight Cross Country Championships.
