Southeast Michigan Pop Warner Football League has recently been recognized by E-Teamz for developing and maintaining a quality web site.

 

 

SEMPWFL 8th Annual Scholastic Banquet Held January 11, 2009  was a   BIG SUCCESS!!!! More than 360 were in attendance to see us recognize our Scholar athletes with medals, trophies and scholarships for college.  Two of our senior scholar athletes (one boy and one girl) received the $500.00 scholarship awards awarded in the names of John Johnson and Denise Hardaway.  Our speaker reverend Orlando Arnold was both enlightening and inspiring.  Forty-five (45) cash gift cards were given as door prizes to the scholar athletes.  The food and music was fabulous; pictures taken were outstanding.  All in all, the event was a huge success.  Stay tuned for photos to be posted of the event.

 

 

Three SEMPWFL football teams are Mid-America Region Champions and they competed in the 2008 National Pop Warner Football Championships: Division I Southfield Lathrup Falcon Peewees are  Second Place D-I National Runner-Up Champions (See Photos) Division I Detroit Hurricane Midgets are Third Place D-I National Champions (See Photos) Division II Oak Park Trojan Midgets are Second Place Runner Up National D-II Champions  (See Photos) If you want to order or copy any of the photos above click here. and choose the album containing the pictures you like.  Congrats to all of our teams!!  Thank you for representing the league in such fine fashion!!
