TeeBall introduces kids to the rudimentary rules and fundamental skills of baseball and softball. Girls and boys ages 5,6 and 7 who are new to baseball/softball may play as part of a TeeBall team. The emphasis in TeeBall is upon FUN instruction. Modified baseball rules are used to expose players to some of the skills involved in playing baseball and softball.
Rather than using pitched balls in games, batters hit off a specialized batting stand, or "tee", which is placed over homeplate. Basics of hitting, fielding, and baserunning are taught. Typically, our TBall teams do not keep score. Instead, kids are taught that if they try hard and have fun, they WIN! The value of teamwork is stressed, along with good sportsmanship.
Many great sports careers began in Teeball. President George W. Bush supports the objectives of Little League -- he even created a Teeball league that plays games on the White House Lawn.
MINOR B Baseball
Kids aged 6-8 who are ready to develop additional baseball skills can join the Minor B Division. Newcomers aged 7-10 can also elect to begin Little League by plaing in this division, instead of TBall.
The emphasis in Minor B is on teaching the game of baseball. Specially-adapted playing rules are used to match the challenges of the game to the appropriate age-level skills of the players.
For example, we start the season using Coach's Pitch to permit kids to learn how to hit moving pitches. As the season progresses, and players' skills develop, players are eventually used as Pitchers, with various safeguards to protect their egos and move the game along.
Kids play on evenly matched Co-ed teams, and "must play" rules ensure that everyone gets to participate. Coach's emphasize fun and instruction.
MINOR A Baseball
Minor A is an instructional baseball division for boys and girls aged 9-10 who, by reason of age and other factors are not drafted to play on MAJOR division teams. The MINOR A division is a developmental division, with the objective of preparing players for advancement to the MAJORS division. Players are assigned to balanced co-ed teams, which typically play two games a week during the Spring season. The rules for Minor A Baseball are nearly identical to those for MAJORS division play, with the exception that all players bat, regardless of their defensive positions. This means a player will always bat in turn, even if he/she did not play in the field (defenisively) during that inning.
Minor A players aged 9, and 10 are eligible for selection to, and participation in, various post-season All-Star tournaments.

MAJOR Baseball
The MAJOR Division is for boys and girls aged 10-12 years old. Players who have not played in the Seminole Little League MAJOR during the past season must attend a tryout, and may be drafted onto a regular season team. All players eligible for the Minor A division must attend a Tryout in January of each year. (Players may lead off bases, steal, and so on)
Players in the JUNIOR Division are eligible for selection to post season teams, including ALL-STAR teams who play in the tournament leading to the JUNIOR Division World Series each FALL.

MINOR Softball
Girls (aged 7-12) who wish to begin learning the fundamental skills of softball can begin play in the MINOR Softball Division. The emphasis in MINORS is on teaching the game of softball. Special playing rules are used to match the challenges of the game to the appropriate age-level skills of the players. For example, we use Coach's Pitch (using a pitching machine), to permit kids to learn how to hit moving pitches. As the season progresses, players are eventually used as Pitchers, with various safeguards to protect their egos and move the game along.
