Scotia-Glenville Little League: Welcome

In-Person Registration: The Scotia Glenville Little League (SGLL) will be holding open registration for the upcoming 2012 Spring Baseball Season at the Scotia Glenville Senior High School (outside of the new gym) on January 28, 2012 and February 4, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Registration is open to boys and girls age 4 to 12.  First time registrants are asked to please bring their birth certificate.  The cost of registration is $80.00 for TBall (ages 4 and 5) and $105.00 for all other divisions (ages 6 to 12).  Included in the registration fee is $30.00, for six $5.00 raffle tickets that will later be issued by the child’s coach.  Any money collected from the sale of the required raffle tickets is to be kept by the parent/guardian. In addition to the two dates listed below, SGLL will also have a registration table at its winter clinic at Hit-N-Run on Maxon Road on March 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.  See the SGLL website (http://www.eteamz.com/Scotia-GlenvilleLL) for more details about SGLL’s Winter Clinic.SGLL also utilizes online registration.  Please see the link below. Baseball Clinic: Scotia Little League will be sponsoring an indoor clinic to help get ready for the upcoming season. The clinic dates will be all Saturday's, March 4th, 11th, 18th, and 24th at the new Hit-N-Run facility at 1903 Maxon Road (Corner of Freemans Bridge and Maxon) . Times as follows: 4-8 year olds 2-3 PM, 9-12 year olds 2:45-4 PM. Cost is $5

WELCOME! The Scotia Glenville Little League is located in Collins Park in Scotia New York. The league has 300 participants and consists of two divisions: Minors including T Ball, Instructional, AA, AAA and the Majors division. Fundraising for Scotia Little League:  As many of you are already aware Scotia Little League and it's facilities incurred substantial damage as a result of the flood caused by Hurricane Irene. All the contents of the concession were lost in the flood including 3 freezers, refrigerator, grill, 2 fryers, slushie machine, cabinets, countertops...The entire stand needs to be rebuilt including replacing sheet rock, electrical work, plumbing, etc...If anyone has spare items they have no use for and can offer as a replacement please contact Joe Gatta (518) 860-7272 or mwjjg@aol.com. If you would like to contribute to our fundraising efforts to restore the facilitites a check can be sent and made payable to: Scotia-Glenville Little League P.O. Box 2156 Scotia, NY 12302 . Additionally, if you have any skills that that can be offered in helping restore the stand and field it would be much appreciated.
