Game Schedules Have been POSTED !!!

Well, it has been interesting to set up, but the Game Schedules (with the exception of T-ball which will follow in the next couple of days) are up and ready to go.

You can click on the Schedules Link, then on the Divisions that you are looking for to see the Schedule.

Please Note that Softball will show up in both Majors Softball and Minor A Softball.  The difference is that 3 games show up in the Minor A Softball Schedule for the Minor A girls, that do not show up in the Majors Softball Schedule.

To all Players, Parents, and Managers and Coaches, Lets try to remember that these are Kids not professional Athletes, and give them and the volunteer Coaches, and Managers the courtesy they deserve. .

Speaking of Softball, SCLL is going to field 4 teams of girls in their first year of Play.  And I would also like to extend our welcome to The Hammondsport LL Softball, and Prattsburg who will be playing a couple of games with us this season in InterLeague Play.  Should make for a great season!!.

Lets Have Fun And PLAY BALL!!!!

Scott McCray, SCLL President

In Memory of:

The Schuyler County Sunshine Fund, and Schuyler County Little League would like to take the time to recognize a young man who was taken from his family way to soon.  On behalf of Schuyler County Little League, I would like to to extend our sympathies to the family of Robert McElligott.  Please keep them in your thoughts.

Robert David McElligott passed away in his sleep on December 27, 2008 as a result of a seizure.  Robert was 14 years old and an 8th grade honor student at the Richard T. Stank Middle School in the Susquehanna Valley School District.  Ever since he was a little boy, Robert loved the game of baseball and was a loyal fan of the Yankees.  Even though Robert lived in the Binghamton area with his parents, he had strong ties to Schuyler County where he would often visit his grandparents, David and Marsha McElligott, and other family members in Watkins Glen.  Along with being a member of his local baseball team, Robert loved to do many other activities, such as fishing, paintball, skateboarding and playing poker with his dad, grandpa and uncles.  Robert was a compassionate, helpful young man, who befriended everyone he met and was always willing to help anyone.
