Tryout schedule has been finalized for all 2009 Seminole Teams. Tryouts will be held at Judson College in Elgin on the following days.

14U Seminoles Win July Wood Bat CABA Tournament in Lynwood!

The 14U Seminoles defeated the Oak Forest Storm and West Lawn Lugnuts behind solid pitching efforts by winning pitchers Ben Gullo and Aaron DeGeorge  These two victories advanced the Noles to the championship game against the Triple Crown Kings. In the championship game Kane Roknic was the winning pitcher throwing 4 strong innings. Blake Stezskal also threw two solid innings in relief. The offense was led by Seminoles catcher and Tournament MVP Nate Garris (Garris went 8 for 11 at the plate in the 3 tournament playoff victories on Sunday) Also, Ryan Czachor and Michael Mangialardi had 2 hits each in the championship game. Congratulations to the entire Seminoles Team and Coaching staff on winning the championship.

15U Seminoles Win Slugfest Tournament!

The 1 seed Schaumburg Seminoles defeat the 2 seed Naperville Renegades 4-3 in a fantastic championship game. The Seminoles went a perfect 6-0 to win the Slugfest Tournament. Wins against the Kenosha Bobcats 5-0, LITH Thunder 10-2, and Orland Park Sparks 11-2 in divisional play. In the Playoff round wins over the Bloomingdale Travelers 9-1, Kenosha Bobcats 10-1, and the Naperville Renegades 4-3. The championship game was a classic going 10 innings. Great pitching from 3 of the Seminoles ace pitchers Parker Asmann, Brendon Hayden, and Evan Masters in the championship game victory. The offense was lead by Matt Anderson who had two big hits and drove in the teams first 3 runs. The game winning hit was delivered by Charley Gould in the bottom of the tenth. Gould also had two big hits in the game including the game winner in the 10th. Kevin Colburn had a great game at the plate in the title game and continues to impress in the clean up spot in the order. The Seminoles scored an impressive 49 runs and only allowed 9 runs in the 6 victories. 16U Seminoles National Team Wins Their Season Opener!

The 16U Seminoles National Team won their season opener 7-1 over the Crystal Lake Tigers at Trout Park on Tuesday night. The Seminoles offense was led by 3rd Baseman Anthony Feliciano who was 2 for 3 at the plate including a 5th inning Grandslam over the right centerfield fense. Also, Steve Gianonni and Nikko Andriotos had big base hits in the victory. The Seminoles pitching was impressive as 5 pitchers combined to only allow 1 run in the victory. Congratulations to the entire team and to Coach Gord on their season opening victory. Seminoles Go 3-0 In May CABA Tournament To Advance To Playoffs

The 14U Seminoles go a perfect 3-0 to advance to the Playoff Round in the CABA Tournament in Lynwood this weekend. The Seminoles won the tournament opening game 11-7 lead by strong starting pitching from Ben Gullo. The offense was led by Ryan Czachor who had 3 big hits in the lead off spot. Also, Theo Karobatsos and Aaron DeGeorge drove in big runs helping lead the Seminoles to the victory. The second game of the tournament was an easy 15-0 victory over the Orland Park Magic. The 3rd victory of the tounament was a 5-1 victory over the Beverly Renegades. Star pitcher Nate Garris threw a complete game gem on the mound only allowing 1 run on 3 hits. Garris also contributed at the plate with a big 2 run double. Michael Mangialardi went 2 for 3 with 2 rbi's and Joe Patzelt also drove in 2 runs in the victory. The Seminoles impresive 3-0 record advances them to the playoff round on Sunday afternoon. Stay Tuned for more updates!

14U Seminoles Home Opener At Schaumburg Flyers Stadium on April 17th!

The Schaumburg Seminoles again will be playing some of their home games at Alexian Field, home of the Schaumburg Flyers. Alexian Field is one of the premier stadiums in the Midwest. All Seminole teams will be playing their home games at Flyers Stadium and at Trout Park in 2008.

Schaumburg Seminoles Add Another National Team To The Program!

The Seminoles organization is thrilled to announce the addition of a second Elite 16U Team to their National Program. The Seminoles will have two 16U teams in 2008. The Schaumburg Seminoles (National) and Schaumburg Seminoles (American) teams. Both teams will open up their 2008 season participating in the Seminoles Slugfest National Tournament the first week of June. Stay tuned for updates on both teams very impressive rosters.

15U Seminoles Take 2nd Place in The 16U President's Day Tournament in Florida.

The 15U Seminoles go undefeated in Florida with a 3-0 record in pool play to advance to the playoff round on Monday. The Seminoles won their fourth game in a row on Monday to advance to the championship with a win over the previously undefeated ECTB Stars from Pennsylvania. The Championship game featured the #1 and #2 seeds in the tournament. This accomplishment was even more impressive for the Seminoles because the team was missing 4 starters for this tournament. Here's the final standings in this 16 Team 16U President's Day Tournament.  Congrats to the 1st Place Ohio Warhawks (5-0)  2nd Place Schaumburg Seminoles (4-1)  3rd Place ECTB Stars (4-1)  4th Place Maryland Falcons (3-2) For the entire schedule, scores, and complete standings you can go to www.cocoaexpo.com/baseball/tournaments for more updates.


15U Seminoles Go Undefeated this Fall!

Congrats to the entire 15U Seminoles Team on a very successful Fall season. The Seminoles went undefeated winning 9 games which included wins against some 16U Teams. The team was lead by one of the top players in the country, Seminole star Brendon Hayden (photo below left). Brendon batted over .600 and also had a 3-0 record as a starting pitcher. Seminoles Gold Glove 1st Baseman Mike Herrmann supplied alot of power hitting a team leading 3 HR's. Star pitchers Parker Asmann, Sam Mahar, Chase Matheson, and Ben Mahar also recorded wins on the mound. Seminole catchers Brenden Dunleavy and Charley Gould impressed in every game and will be one of the best catching combinations in the Midwest. Gould also drove in many key runs with many extra base hits in the teams  9 victories. Next up, the 16U AAU Tournament in Florida this winter. 14U Seminoles Finish in 2nd Place in the Fox Valley Fall Tournament.

The 14U Seminoles complete a very successful Fall Season which included the best overall record in the Fox Valley Fall League and a second place finish in the tournament. The Seminoles were led by the strong pitching from Aaron DeGeorge (photo above right). Aaron was the teams top pitcher. All American Joe Patzelt impressed in his only start this Fall recording a victory. The offense was lead by Nate Garris who hit over .450 this fall and delivered many big hits in many Seminole victories. Theo Karabatsos played very good defense in every game. The Seminoles take their 4-1 record to Tennessee this March to open their 2008 Tournament schedule.


Nelson Gord Has Signed on as The Head Coach of the 2008 16U Seminoles!

The Seminoles have hired Nelson Gord to manage the 2008 16U Team. Gord has just completed his fourth season of Professional Baseball. From 2004-2006 he was an All Star for the Schaumburg Flyers in the Northern League. Following the 2006 season he signed a free agent contract with the Houston Astros. Nelson is also the lead hitting instructor at Play Ball USA in Des Plaines and is one of the top hitting instructors in the state. Congratulations goes out to Seminoles Star Parker Asmann on being selected to the TBS All American Team for the second consecutive season. Parker was one of the top twenty 14u players in the entire country that received this award. Many More details to follow on another great honor for Parker and the Seminoles Program.  

14U Seminoles Impress With Big Wins AT USSSA Elite 24 World Series!

The Seminoles played very good baseball all week long and represented Illinois as the top team in the Midwest at the Elite 24 World Series in Orlando. Congratulations to the entire team on a very impressive top 10 finish in this National Event. Many more details on the way!

Big weekend for Seminoles Nation!!!!!

The 13 and 14u Seminole teams win tournament championships while the 15 and 16u teams make very strong showings in their respective tournaments. Many details to follow!!! The 13u Seminoles win the Monster of the Midway Tournament in Lynwood, IL. The 14u Seminoles repeat as champions at the Cincy Flames Classic National Tournament in Dayton, OH. The 16u Seminoles go 4-0 and receive the #1 seed going into the Cincy Flames Classic Tournament Playoff round, which featured 48 teams. The Seminoles advanced in the playoff round and ultimately finished with a very impressive 5-1 record. Also, the 15u Seminoles Team finished in second place in Indiana at the Pastime Showcase Tournament in Bloomington, Indiana. Congratulations to all 4 Seminole Teams on their successful tournaments over the weekend. Seminoles Are Monster Of The Midway Champions

The Seminoles went 3-0 in pool play, with the 'Noles pitching staff allowing only 1 run to get the #1 seed. In the semi-finals Seminole pitcher Joe Patzelt pitched a complete game allowing only 1 run against local rival, Bridgeport Bombers. In the championship game against the Cincinnatti Stix, 'Nole's pitchers Kurt Kempema and Chris Myjak combined efforts to get the win. The game remained tied at 4 runs apiece when Patzelt leadoff the bottom of the 7th with a double and Drew Bailey following with another double to drive in the winning run. The championship capped off a great weekend for the Seminole nation with the 14U repeating as champions in the Cincy Flames tournament, the 15U team taking 2nd place in the Pastime Showcase tournamnt and the 16s getting the #1 seed and going 5-1 in the TOC tournament in Ohio.

14U Seminoles Win Triple Crown Illinois State Championship!

Congratulations to the 14U Seminoles on winning the Triple Crown State Championship with a perfect 5-0 record. The Seminoles won 4 in a row on Sunday including a dominating 13-4 victory over the Orland Park Sparks in the championship. Brendon Hayden was named Tournament MVP. Brendon hit over .500 in the tournament and also pitched a shut out in the opening round of the playoffs on Sunday. Parker Asmann was the winning pitcher in the semi final game against Elgin and Quincy Berg was the winning pitcher in the championship victory over the Sparks. Stay Tuned for many more highlights from this championship tournament.

16U Seminoles Make A Strong Showing At TBS TOC Tournament


The Seminoles win big games in the TOC National Tournament! A 5-1 victory over the East Cobb Braves and a 6-5 win over the Columbus Cobras. The Seminoles were the only team from Illinois to make the championship playoff round and win their division with a 3-1 record. Seminoles star pitcher Derek Brown dominated throwing a complete game against East Cobb in the tournament opener. Logan Olson and Macklin Bray also starred in the tournament with many big hits and clutch rbi's. Many more highlights and details to follow on this great tournament.

The 14u Seminoles go 5-1 and finish in 2nd Place in the USSSA Super NIT!

Congrats to the entire 14u Seminoles team on another very impressive showing at the USSSA Super NIT. The Seminoles went a perfect 3-0 in pool play and received the #1 seed. In the playoff round the Seminoles won 12-4 over the Michigan Angels and then won a thriller 11-10 against the South Oakland A's to advance to the championship. Kevin Colburn tied the game in the 7th with a big rbi triple and then the heroics continued with a game winning rbi single by Ben Mahar. Many more highlights to follow. Congratulations to the Rawlings Orioles and Schaumburg Seminoles on finishing as the top two teams in the tournament.

13U Seminoles Win Slugfest Championship

The Seminoles go 5-0 to win the Slugfest Tournament. The 'Noles pitching staff allowed only 4 runs in 3 games, with Kempema and Dejong throwing a combined no-hitter in game 3 to just edge out the Troy Titans as the #1 seed. In the championship game against the Troy Titans from Joliet, Seminoles pitcher Joe Patzelt goes 5 innings allowing only 1 run to help record the 8-3 championship game victory. Kurt Kempema was named Tournament MVP. Many more details to follow.

14U Seminoles win the Slugfest Championship!

The Seminoles win the Slugfest Championship with an undefeated 5-0 record. In the playoff round the Seminoles defeated the McHenry County Hurricanes 13-3. Outfielder Luke Venegoni hit a second inning Grandslam and Kevin Colburn also hit a 3rd inning Homerun in the victory. In the championship game the Seminoles defeated a very strong Highwood Braves team 5-4. Winning pitcher Ben Mahar threw 5 great innings in relief only allowing 1 run. Mike Herrmann had two big hits including an RBI single and Parker Asmann had the game winning RBI single to give the Seminoles the 5-4 thrilling championship victory. Congratulations to all the top teams that participated in this National Tournament.

14U Seminoles Repeat as Tennessee Spring Classic Champions

The Seminoles win the USSSA Spring Classic Tournament  with a perfect 4-0 record. Seminoles star 3rd Baseman Kevin Colburn was named Tournament MVP. Colburn hit over .600 in the tournament and drove in many big runs. Seminoles starting pitchers Dante Martinez, Sam Mahar, Parker Asmann, and Brendon Hayden all impressed as winning pitchers in all four tournament games.

13U Seminoles Win Tennessee Spring Classic

The 13u Schaumburg Seminoles start their 2007 season off in impressive fashion with winning the USSSA Spring Classic Tournament in Paris, Tennessee. The Seminoles out scored their opponents 47-3 in their 5 victories. The tournament also featured top teams from Kentucky, the Paducah Storm and the Lexington Bombers as well as some good local Tennessee teams. The Seminoles were led by TBS All American Joe Patzelt who is one of the top all around players in the country. The offense was led by Jack Picchiotti who hit over .600 for the tournament and was named Co MVP along with left handed ace pitcher Ben Wiertel who threw 4 shut out innings in the Seminoles opening game victory. Also, Seminole star pitchers Kurt Kempema, Aaron DeGeorge, and Drew Bailey had impressive outings on the mound allowing 0 runs in each of their starts. Zach Losch delivered the game winning hit in the tournament opener breaking a scoreless tie in the 5th inning. The RBI single proved to be the game winner and helped the Seminoles to a 5-0 opening game victory over the Raging Reds from Tennessee. Great defense was played all tournament long by starting 2nd Baseman Paul Dejong and starting right fielder Ryan Czachor. In the championship game starting pitcher Chris Myjak dominated shutting down a very good Lexington Bombers team to help lead the Seminoles to a 11-0 championship victory. The Seminoles have an overall record of 6-0 to start the season. Congratulations to Coach Gangler and the boys on winning the 14U championship.
