Pinto 1-0 at World Series
The Santa Susana Pinto "A" Allstars beat Anaheim 5-3 on Friday in their pool game at the Pinto World Series in Garden Grove. On Thursday, the boys played Chino Hills to a 3-3 draw before the game was suspended due to darkness. That game will be completed on Saturday morning before they face off against West Covina at 11:00am in the final pool game. The semifinal and championship will take place on Sunday should the boys advance out of pool play. The World Series is being played at Walton Fields, 12192 West Street, Garden Grove. The boys would love to see a large Santa Su cheering section, so come out and support the team. Stay posted to this site to see if we will be playing on Sunday.

The
Santa Susana Pinto “A” Allstar team defeated Camarillo 9-8 in
extra innings to win the Desert Region Championship in Indio where
temperatures reached 122 today. Andrew
Gertz delivered the game-winning hit, a gapper to right center, with the bases loaded and one out
in the bottom of the 7th inning to plate Matthew Campbell. The team will now play in the Pinto World
Series in Garden
Grove. The schedule will be posted on the website
as soon as we have it.

Wednesday, July 6
Santa Su "B" Teams Start Strong
The Santa Su Pinto "B" Allstar team opened Pony sanctioned tournament play with a 5-1 victory over North Valley "A" at the Pinto Section tournament at West Hills. Cal Hodgins pitched three shutout innings and doubled in the first run. Cole Nivens pitched two shutout innings and Kurtis Sapiro had three hits for Santa Su. Santa Su plays West Hills "A" on Saturday at 9:00am.
The Santa Su Mustang "B" team came back from an 8-0 deficit to defeat Ventura Coast "A" 12-11 at the Mustang District tournament in Ojai. Santa Su trailed 11-10 going into the last inning. Ezra Lupoli led off with a triple. Adam Jamal drove in the tying run and scored the winning run. Santa Su will play Westlake "B" Friday night at 7:00pm.
