Kids Camp

"My children have gone to four camps at Santa Clara and their baseball knowledge has grown by leaps and bounds. I love the way the coaches can shift from a six year old child to a thirteen year old teenager and still get their point across. The reason my family picked these camps and classes is because this is a baseball team that now competes successfully, especially in a sport that is forever changing. I feel these camps are an invaluable benefit to everyone."

"We recommend the Santa Clara Broncos Baseball Camps to all of our Little League players because the coaches tailor and design their instruction to the needs of each individual child. In addition, the camp offers great instruction for players of all skill levels to improve their abilities and their enjoyment of the game. The improvement we have seen after a week-long camp is tremendous!"

My 9 year old and 7 year old boys have attended the Santa Clara University baseball kids camps. Both boys had a lot of fun playing on the incredible baseball field and using the batting cages. They also learned a lot from Coach Matt Daily and were very inspired. They are so excited about attending another camp at SCU again!

Prospect Camp

"My experiences at the camp were top-notch. This was my favorite camp of all the camps I attended the entire summer. I really enjoyed the competitive atmosphere, as well as the first-class instruction. This camp was so enjoyable because of its competitiveness. I also enjoyed the fact that we got the chance to stay on campus and actually play in Schott Stadium. It is crucial to go to this camp if you want to get noticed. You will not only be playing in front of all the Santa Clara coaches, but also a variety of colleges and universities, including Division I schools. I had a blast and really enjoyed this camp."

Coach O'Brien,

I want to thank you and your coaching staff for a great Prospect Camp. Having the opportunity to compete at Stephen Schott Stadium was the highlight of my busy summer. The personal attention that the staff showed to all the ballplayers made me feel very welcome. I gained a lot of knowledge in the group sessions with the academic counselor, mental skills consultant, and strength coach. Walking away from your camp and campus, I told my parents that Santa Clara was where I wanted to continue my education and compete on the baseball field. It was a special experience that I will always remember. You run a first-class program.

I would not hesitate to recommend a current junior or sophomore to attend the Santa Clara Bronco Prospect Camp because it gives them a chance to see what it's like in college. The Prospect Camp also gives potential college athletes a chance to associate with various college coaches and players from across the country. I think that's one of the things that sets it apart from other camps. Here you get to work with a hitting coach, pitching coach, infield coach, outfield coach, and/or catching coach everyday for the four or five days that you're there. Then you also get the opportunity to see how your ability matches up against the rest of the campers when you play games against the rest of the teams at the camp. On top of that, you get to a chance to stay on campus and eat in the cafeteria so it gives you a feel what going to college is like. Overall I would say the Santa Clara Bronco Prospect Camp was a valuable learning experience for me and really helped me to see what life was like as a potential student athlete. I would strongly recommend anyone who's thinking about playing high-level baseball in college to attend this camp.
