Notice of Special Meeting of the Members of Sandston Youth Association

 The Sandston Youth Association will have a Special Meeting at 8:30pm on May 13, 2013 at the Sandston Recreation Center, 11 Finley Road, Sandston VA 23150. The purpose of the meeting is to amend the Sandston Youth Association Constitution and By-Laws regarding fundraising to be consistent with the public charity aspects of the Internal Revenue Service code section 501(c)(3). This is needed in order to complete the requirements for Sandston Youth Association to be recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a charitable organization. The proposed change is being made to ARTICLE IV: Dues of the Constitution and By-Laws. It is proposed that Section 4 regarding mandatory fundraiser be removed and Section 5 be renumbered Section 4.
