Jr Pee Wees Play in the Alamo Dome
The Wolverine Jr. Pee Wee's played in the Alamo Dome on January 4th, 2009 as part of the first annual Army All American/Football University Youth Football Bowl games set up in the Dome. The Wolverines were selected to represent the city of San Antonio against the Deland Bulldogs from Florida. The Deland Bulldogs were selected to represent Florida in the Bowl game touted as Texas vs Florida! The Bulldogs came out of the dome with the victory 32-12, taking the trophy back to Florida with them. Both teams played very well. And the experience of playing in the Dome over shadowed the loss the Wolverines took that day. Congratulations to both teams on a great game!
