Monday, July 27Saline Stix - Runners Up at the USSSA 10U World Series!
After a slow start in Pool Play, the Saline Stix went 6-2 in Bracket play to finish as Runners Up in the USSSA 10U AA World Series.
The Stix turned a 6 game winning streak into a Championship Game apperance against the Bedford Bombers.
Congratulations to a great season.

Stix win Lightning Classic
The Saline Stix went 4-0 to win the 2009 Lightning 10U Classic in Fenton on July 13th.
The Stix earned victories over teams from Bloomfield, Fenton, Huron Valley, and South Farmington to claim the championship trophy.
Monday, June 29
Saline Stix win 10U State Championship
The Saline Stix went 5-0 to capture the 2009 USSSA 10U AA State Championship!
Victories against the Motor City Bulldogs, Diamonds, and the Bloomfield Sting in pool play allowed the Stix to capture a first round bye in the championship round.
The Stix went on to beat the Southfield Padres in the semi finals to set up a championship game against the Bedford Bombers.
The Saline Stix earned the Championship Trophy with a 9-6 win over the Bombers!

Stix win Wolves Challenge Tournament
The Saline Stix went 5-0 to win the 2009 Wolves Challenge Tournament at Founders Park in Farmington Hills MI.

| Fireball Classic 2nd Place |

Stix finish 2nd in Fireball Classic!
The Saline Stix went 3-0 in pool play at the Fireball Classic in Battle Creek Michigan. The Stix went to the bottom of the 6th in their first game against the Grand Rapids Flames to score the winning runs. Against the Granger Cubs, the Stix held off a 6th inning rally to preserve the victory. Sunday's game against the ATH Stampede capped a perfect record in Pool play and allowed the Stix to play in the Championship game against the Battle Creek Bulldogs.
Despite a strong offensive proformance against the Bulldogs, they could not come up with the victory.
The Stix take a weekend off for Memorial Day and will play their next tournament in Farmington Hills Michigan in two weeks.

Stix Compete in Howell Hawks Tournament
The Saline Stix went 3-1 in tournament play at the 2009 Howell Hawks 10U Baseball Tournament.
Next up is the Fireball Classic Tournament in Battle Creek Michigan.

Stix win 2009 Battle of the North Tournament
The Saline Stix claimed the Championship trophy of the 2009 Battle of the North 10U Baseball Tournament in Dayton Ohio. With this win in their opening tournament,the Stix earned a berth in the July 2009 10U USSSA World Series.
