Saturday, September 12 Hursty HURSTY Have you enjoyed your time with Arsenal so far?? Yes, very much so. It's one of the best experiences of my life playing for this club. We have seen you play a lot in the team recently. How has this been for you? These past 3 months I have really worked hard and it shows in my soccer performance. My hard work and determination at my practices really show in my games. Is Soccer in England much more physical than in the USA? It's a huge difference! The kid's toughness there is unbelievable, but there toughness against me has taught me a lot and makes me a tougher person too. What have you had to do in order to adapt to playing in England? Get as physical and as smart as they are on the field. It's hard work, but it can be done. What player has been the biggest help since you arrived at the Club? All the kids who pushed me and made me better by challenging me to do harder and better things. What was it like travelling to the England in the Summer?? It was a great experience that I will cherish forever. It wasn't just a trip, but it was a learning trip that has taught me so much, from soccer to English food and history. What are you aims for the new campaign?? To push myself and my teammates to work their butts off so we can make it to premier. What do you enjoy most about your game?? My field smarts. In England I had to think quick and make a decision with the ball before I get covered by a man. This has given me great decision making on my passes. What do you think of Turner?? Well, there has been a lot of commotion. Haha. But I think he's an amazing goalie and will be for the rest of his career. When you signed for the club, did it help having team-mates come with you? Yes, It gave me more confidence towards joining the team and it was much easier to settle in. Saturday, September 12 Rizzo RIZZO Have you enjoyed your time with Arsenal so far? It's been a great experience playing with the team and going to England. We have seen you play a lot in the team recently. How has this been for you? It's been interesting from playing up in bakersfield and in state cup to playing all the way down next to mexico all goes to experience. Is Soccer in England much more physical than in the USA? It's wayyyyyy more physical than in the U.S. the ref's don't call anythingggggg. What have you had to do in order to adapt to playing in England? If you go to England and think it's just gonna be an easy run then you are gonna get what's coming to you. If you're not aggressive and you're not willing to go in for a 50, 50 tackle as hard as you can, than you're not gonna last 5 minutes without getting injured. What play has been the biggest help since you arrived at the Club? The biggest play for me was probably my debute goal against Matrix at Birdsall. That goal gained my confidence a lot for me that day and it carried throughout the season. What was it like travelling to the England in the Summer?? Traveling to England in the summer is like traveling to Hawaii in the winter, it rains like every day on and off, it's pretty cold too, definately not like Palm Springs summer. What are you aims for the new campaign?? To stick my position as right back and be 3x as aggressive as I was last year. What do you enjoy most about your game?? There's not much to enjoy espesially when you let a goal in when you should of been marking him. What do you think of Turner?? Turner is a great keeper who's done only the best for this team and I don't he's replaceable. When you signed for the club, did it help having team-mates come with you.?? It definately did considering my decision was depending on Hursty's decision.
