Website Updates

Pool Members...

Day passes are only available for people with paid memberships and the day passes are for paid members to bring friends/family/visitors. We DO NOT offer day passes for anyone that wants to swim. They must be associated with a membership.

Passes will be arriving shortly and you will have to bring them with you to the pool.

There will be an open house this coming SaturdayJuly 10th, 2010 from noon to 8pm. Anyone can come swim for free for the day. We will need some volunteers to help out. Please understand that it is our pool. The more members, the more updates we can provide and even lower prices.

Swim Lessons please email Kylie at kmearkle89@yahoo.com

We are asking members to help out with that day if interested, please let us know. This pool is going to need workers.

Swim Team....

Please make a note that the correct volunteer schedule has been attached to the hand outs section (link to the left) and that this Friday, our meet has been changed from away to home...This means a lot of work but with that hard work comes good fundraising.

Also, there are never regular season meets at noon. All meets start at 6:00pm and coaches ask us to be there no later than 5:15pm.  We want to get the kids back into the spirit of a team, please try to hang out and cheer the rest of the team.

The volunteer schedule has been updated and is a pdf file. If you can not open it, please go to www.adobe.com and download the free Adobe Reader. PLEASE review the schedule and make a note as to the dates we need you.

If anyone is interested in being a Referee for the meets, we will train you and it is a fun job. Please let us know.

About the Wallkill Valley Swim Conference.

The Wallkill Valley Swim Conference is a summer recreational program that is committed to the development of the enjoyment of swimming while teaching responsibility, camaraderie, sportsmanship with respect for teammates and opponents, and establishing a positive attitude towards competition. Summer recreational swimming is defined as a program to encourage children to swim for self-improvement, to establish a team identity and philosophy, and to develop a love for a sport that could benefit them in the future. Coaches, parents, and swimmers are to view competition with a positive attitude whether the team or individual is victorious or not. These are children and we want them to gain from this summer recreational program is team spirit, self-worth, and a positive attitude about themselves, others, and competition.
