So you missed all our sign ups. Do not worry, send us an e-mail and we can send you information on how to sign up your child.
The prices and a brief description of each division are as followed and for more information click on the division button to the left. Registration and Physical Forms available to the left under handouts.
Flag Division is open to all 6-8 year olds, registration fee of $90**
Tackle “B” (the old “C”) is open to all 9 & 10 year olds, registration fee of $110**.
Tackle “A” (the old “B”) is open to all 11 & 12 year olds and 13 year olds 115 lbs. and under. Registration fee $110**
Cheerleaders is open to all 6-13 year olds registration fee $75**
Each additional player or cheerleader in a family will cost $60, highest fee prevails. **In order to keep the registration cost down you will have the option of either selling a box of 30 candy bars for $2 each or doing the buyout of $25. Families with multiple players will only be responsible for no more then 2 option of candy. Any 2008 SVMFL player returning for the 2009 season needs to sign up before July 1st to guarantee, if eligible, their spot on their old team. Any returning player that signs up after July 1st will be placed into the open draft. For the past 5 years we have offered to waive the registration fees for any player or cheerleader if either parent is serving in any branch of the United States Armed Forces on Active Overseas Duty, and we will continue to do so this year.
Returning players and cheerleaders you should have received a registration form in the mail with most of your stuff filled out, you can either bring them to a sign up mail them to: SVMFL Sign Ups, Post Office Box 163, Southington, CT 06489. Returning players have to be signed up before July 1st to assure that they return to last year's team.
Wednesday, June 10
Evaluation week starts July 27th. This is for all football players playing in a new division that have not been assigned to a team. This is not a try out, no one gets cut. The purpose of these evaluations is to observe all the new players and try the best to spread the talent throughout the divisions as evenly as we can. This is not mandatory, if you are on vacation that is understood. We really would like him or her to be present. Just e-mail us that you can not make it. Raindates will be on either July 30 or 31, depending on forecasts.
The Flag Division will met July 27th @ 6:00 PM
The Tackle "B" Division (9&10) will met July 28th @ 6:00 PM
The Tackle "A" Division (11-13) will met July 29th @ 6:00 PM
