As your teams web page representative (TWPR), you will be able to customize your page with your team colors, provide important information, add a photo album and much more! Your team page will be viewed by hundreds of people this season. Please take the time to make additions to your site. Your team will be looking forward to logging on to find out what is happening in the league and, most importantly, about your team.

Please request membership by clicking on the "Message Board" at the bottom of the SVGS home page. The SVGS webmaster will grant the user access to their specific team. Please E-Mail the webmaster and give your team's division and team name. Please click on the title of this entry to get a sample of a team page.

From the "Admin" section, you can click on the "Users Guide" to get additional information on setting up your page.

1. Our web address is http://www.simivalleygirlsoftball.org. You can also reach the site by using http://www.eteamz.com/svgs Each team will have it's own home page within the SVGS Web Site. The "Team Web Page Representative" (TWPR) will have all administrative access to their page.

2. Each TWPR must request membership through the Message Board at the bottom of the SVGS home page. To get your access properly set as TWPR you will need to E-Mail the SVGS Webmaster with your name, your team's name and your team's division. The SVGS Webmaster will then grant the TWPR access to their team page.

3. All information posted on your site must meet the following guidelines.

   1. Your site is a reflection of SVGS. All content must be held in high regard for the integrity of ASA/USA Softball and the volunteers of SVGS. There will be a zero tolerance policy for any misuse of the site. Any TWPR who violates the integrity of the site will be banned from further administrative access.

   2. Information on the site can and will be viewed by individuals throughout the world. Do not include E-Mail addresses of the players. Confidentiality of the players will be maintained. DO NOT enter last names of the players on the website. Last initial is appropriate.

   3. Any reference to residence will not be posted.

   4. You must have a parent's written permission to post images of the players on the website.

4. To enter your page, click on the red "ADMIN" in the highlight section. Type in your user name & password. Your page can be customized to match your team colors. There are three areas where team colors can be posted on your page. All three can be different colors. However, in the highlight section, you must choose a color that will show a contrast with the font color that has been posted by the Webmaster. The current font color is dark brown. If you choose a dark color for your highlight section, the text will not be visible in highlight section on your page. The text color and the background cannot be changed by the TWPR.

5. In order to post any .art, .gif (character images) .jpg (photo) or .mid (sound) on your site, the file must be stored on your hard drive or a diskette. When storing .art files on your hard drive, change the name of the file to .gif. For example, face.art should be stored as face.gif. The website will not upload .art files. To transfer files from your system to the website you will need to upload the file from your hard drive or diskette onto the admin site. From there you can place the file onto your page at any of a number of locations.

6. While in the "Admin Section", you can click on the "User's Guide" at the bottom of the page to get online help from the team at Eteamz.

Please add the TWPR distribution list to your E-Mail address book. If you have any questions about designing your site, send a note to the TWPR distribution list. Hopefully, you will receive a response from a fellow TWPR who may have encountered a situation like yours and has a solution.
