To whom it may concern,

Has the board thought about or had dialogue about petitioning the district for a bigger boundary?

Reason I'm writing this is your league has an opportunity to expand its zone to capture more of your neigborhood kids. Your league could make a case that changing the boundaries could help with growing your league and expanding your resources.

One suggestion would be to petition the district to amend the boundary you share with Central Little League to reflect the following changes: Sunrise little league boundary changes to include all homes from Sloan going east/Cheyenne to the north/Sahara to the south.

Central can have everything else. Effectively you can keep your kids together a little easier and with the coaches you feel comfortable with.

Again, this is just a suggestion. I see it being beneficial for all.

Thank you for your time.

Sunrise Mountain LL. STARS 2009

Hey I just wanted to thank the board for giving me a chance to coach this season. Being a new face around the league I have been treated awesome and welcomed with open arms. I am very happy to apply my knowledge and give back to the community just as my coaches did in my 9 year little league career from T-Ball to Seniors. We need more people to step up and give back. I know to some it may seem very challenging or a burden to give up your time, but in the end it is well worth it whether we win or lose. Good luck the rest of the season its gonna be a great one..-Danny Bennett Sunrise Mountain Stars

SMLL//MOTHER OF T-BALLER AND JUNIOR

I have been w/ the league for nine years! Opening day events have all ways been all day and have never been an issue. It was a long day, but the kids, parents and a managers had a blast. All of our kids came and played..and gave it all they had! Thanks Sunrise Mountain Little League Board, parents and Mangers, and coaches for putting forth such success, dedication and support for all your efforts!I know my kids aren't complaining of the long hard day! They took it like troopers and will always remember the fun,the old friends and the good times. Thank you for making quality a priority...I see the difference from years past...and WOW! You guys rock!

Sunrise Mountain Little League Mother of a Rookies Mets kid

I just saw the Saturday opening day events. I just wanted to voice my opinion that having children at the park from 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. is WAY too long. Many of these children, as myself, have younger siblings that need naps. This is too much for little kids. Maybe next time the games can be broken into blocks for each division (ex. T-ball in the am, Rookies in the afternoon, and Minors and Majors in the evening.). It is too much to ask for to have children at the park all day. I am curious to see what the turn out all day is going to be. I know that we will have 3 players leaving after the 1st game.

Sunrise Mountain Little League

When I first put my son in little league I never expected to want to be so involved. When I saw how much fun and incouragement the members of our league devote to our children I had to be apart of giving these kids choices and chances for a great experience and a better path in life. I haven't regreted the choice since I made it, not to mention the love my son has for the game and everyone in it.
We're gonna take this league division to the top!!! We have great board members that are devoted to the kids. Thank you for the opportunity to be apart of it all!!!
