Requirements for Managers and Coaches
The following are the coaching requirements for Sunnybrae Little League:
______ 1. Fingerprinting - The township of Hamilton requires all volunteers to be fingerprinted (good for 3 years). The league president has a roster of those who are still valid.
Fingerprinting process –
a. Call the recreation office at (609) 890-4028 and request to have an application mailed to you.
b. An application and procedure sheet will be mailed to you. Follow the procedure as outlined. No payment is necessary as Federal Grant money is used.
c. After fingerprinting – return application and ORIGINAL receipt to the league president. Keep a copy for your records.
______ 2. Background check – All volunteers much must complete 2009 Little League Volunteer Application (attached).
a. Please include SSN on application.
b. League president performs background check.
______ 3. Safety Clinic – All coaches and managers must attend a district sponsored Safety Clinic. Valid for 3 years. Clinic dates are included on attached flyer.
______ 4. Coaching Clinic – All coaches and managers must attend a basic coaching clinic at least once every 3 years. The league and district provide several opportunities to fulfill this requirement:
a. District 12 Coaches Clinic – Sunday, March 1st – Robbinsville H.S. (flyer attached).
b. Umpire/Coach Clinic – Monday, February 23rd – Allentown/Upper Freehold E.S (flyer attached).
