ST JOHNS FOOTBALL CLUB
The club was formed in 1960 and was initially known as St Johns Kirk Youth Club. They entered the Perthshire Juvenile League the following year. Their first changing rooms were in the former Session House in St Johns Place and they started playing with a set of black and white donated by Craigie Juniors.They held a succsesful jumble sale to raise
their initial funds and in their first season reached the final of two cups-but lost twice to Coupar Angus. Shortly after joining the Juvenile league, they moved to Simpson Park for a couple of seasons before acquiring premises in Low Street and played on the North Inch where they still play today. When the premises where demolished they took over there present accomodation in Rose Terrace which the club own.
