We are a NON-PROFIT community dance team. We take boys and girls ages 5-20. It is a competitive tryout team. We are non-professionals, yet we are able to compete with the best. If you are looking for a fun, family oriented, community dance team, then please come check us out!

The STARPOWER Dance Team was created in 1998 by Cynthia Sheffield Director and Choreographer

Starpower is a non-profit community dance team. The Starpower Dancers are broken into 5 teams: Minis, Babes, Intermediates, Juniors & Seniors. Each year Starpower continues to expand and develop into one of the ELITE COMMUNITY DANCE teams in Texas.

In 1998 The STARPOWER DANCERS started wtih 8 young ladies..

Our 1st year we recieved the following awards:
Dallas Mavericks Grand Champion, San Antonio Spurs Grand Champion, Overall National Runner-up champs, National Runner-up in Pom, Overall Texas State Champions, Texas State Champions in Novelty, Texas State Champions in Prop, Texas State Runner-up Champion, Sportsmanship Award, Directors Award of Excellence, Best Overall Presentation, Best Overall Precision, Best Overall Technique, Sweepstakes and Gussie Nell Davis Award of Excellence.
