Fees:
When registering, write two checks, each payable to “Village of Shorewood”.  One for the registration fee and one for the volunteer fee.  The current registration fee is $65 per child/$45 for U5 players ($175 max per family – siblings only).  The current Volunteer Fee is $50 per family

Add a $25 per child late fee ($75 max per family) if registering after the last official registration date.  The Volunteer Fee for late entries remains at $50 per family.

The volunteer fee encourages volunteers to perform duties vital to the success of the league.  Your check will be returned to you un-cashed at the end of the season if the family meets the minimum 2-hour volunteer requirement. Volunteer positions are:  Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Parent, Concession Stand, Field Set-Up/Clean-Up, or Registration Assistance.  Note:  Line-judging does NOT count towards your volunteer time.

Team Information:
We try to balance the size of the teams with the amount of registrations received for each division - plus the need to have an even amount of teams (the exception being U-12 and U-14).  Every team, in every division, is co-ed.  We strive to keep the boy/girl ratio consistant for all teams in a division.

Division U-5 through U-10: Team sizes can vary depending on the number of players registered.

Division U-12 and U-14: Teams will be capped at 16 players each, with a minimum of 11 players.  The first 16 registrants will be placed on team 1.  The rest will be placed on a waiting list until enough are available to create another team.  Once enough players have been registered to create another team, all players will be placed on the teams according to League practices.  The league will strive to create another team if there are many players on a waiting list.

Equipment Requirements:
The Shorewood Soccer League supplies Shirt and Socks; Player is to provide shorts/pants, shin guards, shoes (if player chooses to wear cleats, they must be soccer style with no cleat at the toe), and ball (U5, U6 & U8 use #3, U10 & U12 use #4, U14 use #5 ball). Players who need to wear glasses must wear sports goggles over their glasses or wear prescription sports glasses. It is recommended that players bring water to practices and games.
