Southern Region Ringette Association: Southern Regionals Info.

The Southern Regionals this year will be held in Niagara Falls on the Easter weekend.  The dates are Thursday, March 28th to Saturday, March 30th.  The registration fee is $650 per team.  47 teams are expected to attend with divisions from U10 to U19.

This is the season's grande finale where all the teams in the region come together to have fun and compete in one last tournament before putting the sticks and skates away until the fall.    Come one, come all....grab the grandparents, aunts and uncles and head on down to Niagara to enjoy the falls, see the sights, and watch your teams participate in the year's closing event.

There will also be a companion Bunnyfest on Saturday March 30th at a cost of $250 per team.  (The price was originally set at $275 but has been reduced!)

The second half is well underway now with the Cambridge and Burlington tournaments complete, and with Richmond Hill, Caledonia, Ayr, Paris and Newmarket quickly approaching.....after that is Regionals!! It will be here before you know it.

In order to plan the bunnyfest portion of the Regionals, we need a commitment from the various associations on how many of their bunny teams would be attending. So far, I have only received 3 replies, and Niagara Falls Ringette has not received any.

Can every association pls contact their bunny coaches/coordiantors and let me (nina.k@live.ca) and Mike Glazier (mikeglazier@sympatico.ca) know by Friday, January 25th, if their association will have teams coming. Please include coach's last name with the sum of teams coming.
